Hair•apy

As a personal development coach focused on women’s issues and needs, I use the “hair chair” instead of a couch or a gym.

“Amanda is amazing! I have been seeing her for the past 5 months now and I feel like I am finally starting to see progress in my life due to her support and coaching. I am someone who has spent many years in counseling trying to overcome the pain and failures of my past. I have made more progress in these 5 months with Amanda than I have in the years I spent in counseling. Focusing too much on the past kept me stuck there. I feel that Amanda "gets me" and she knows how to encourage me without judging me. I think Amanda believes in me more than I believed in myself and that is just what I needed!”

What is Hair•apy?

For my clients, the “hair chair” provides them with a safe, secure, and secluded environment where they can share their feelings, fears, frustrations, ambitions, challenges, hopes, dreams, and so much more. As I work on their hair, we engage in meaningful discussions that provide them with perspective and tools on how to move forward with faith and grit. As they sit in the “hair chair” they have the opportunity to focus on who they are becoming.

“Working with Amanda Lynne coaching has helped me change my mindset and inevitably changed my life. She see’s things that I didn’t realize I could change. She believes in me and ultimately helped me get what I want.
She helped me realize what’s holding me back. She has a very keen sense of awareness and a depth of compassion that allowed me to open up and trust the process of change. You can feel she really cares about you and your success and you aren’t just another number. Amanda Lynne coaching is one of the best investments I’ve made for myself. I am so thankful for her.”

About Amanda Lynne

I’m a mother of six children and married for twenty-two years. I love being a mother and have a deep passion for raising my children to become the best versions of themselves. I also find great joy in helping women—and especially mothers—become who they want to become. Becoming is about growth, and growth takes time, patience, and focus.

“I like to support my clients by sharing stories of real people in real life. I often use my personal experiences as a way to share concepts and ideas. For me, hearing the real-life stories of others helps me learn, reflect on my own life, and evaluate my own behavior. Stories are a powerful way to learn and remember specific values and principles.”
